How to prepare IDDSI Level 4 (Pureed) Instant Jasmine Porridge with Thickener
1. Cut open the instant porridge sachet.
2. Pour the dry porridge into a bowl.
3. Add 4 scoops* (about 5.2g) of thickener to the bowl.
4. Mix the dry porridge and thickener well with a spoon until evenly combined.
5. Add 200ml of hot water.
6. Stir well with a spoon.
7. Set a timer for 1 minute, then blend for 1 minute.
8. Set a timer for 3 minutes and let the porridge rest. The porridge thickens as it rests.
9. After 3 minutes, stir with a spoon. Verify that the porridge meets IDDSI Level 4 requirements before serving.
10.Enjoy!

*Each scoop is about 1.3g. The amount shown was tested with one thickener, and the amount needed varies by brand. If your scoop is a different size, use the equivalent weight (about 5.2g). Please follow your thickener's label.

How to prepare IDDSI Level 5 (Minced & Moist) Instant Jasmine Porridge:
1. Cut open the Instant Porridge Sachet.
2. Pour the dry Instant Porridge into a bowl.
3. Add 200ml of hot water.
4. Stir thoroughly with a spoon until well mixed.
5. Set a timer for 2 minutes and let the porridge rest. The porridge thickens as it rests.
6. After 2 minutes, stir with a spoon and verify that it meets IDDSI Level 5 requirements before serving.
7. Enjoy!
